Learning Made Easier
THE MISSION
Supporting Neurodiverse Learners — Because I Am One
I started Learning Made Easier not just to tutor students, but to be the kind of support I wish I had growing up.

When I was diagnosed with Dyslexia and a Written Expression Disorder in 2012, it completely changed how I saw myself. For a long time, I felt different in a way that held me back. I believed my learning challenges made me less capable — like I had to work twice as hard just to keep up, and even then, it never felt like enough. I labelled myself as “not smart enough,” and that narrative followed me through much of my school life.

But as I grew older, I began to understand something that changed everything: my brain wasn’t broken — it was just wired differently. And different doesn’t mean less. It means unique, creative, and resilient. It means having the ability to see the world in ways that others might miss. That realization gave me a powerful gift: a deep understanding of how people learn and a fierce determination to prove I was more than a label.

That moment became the foundation of Learning Made Easier.

This isn’t just a tutoring service. It’s a safe space for students who’ve felt misunderstood, underestimated, or left behind. It’s for neurodivergent learners who see and process the world differently and need someone who gets it — not just on an academic level, but on a human level. Because I’ve been there. I’ve felt the frustration, the isolation, and the self-doubt. And I’ve also felt what it’s like to come out the other side.

One moment that shaped me forever was when a school counselor told me I wouldn’t be able to complete Pre-Calculus because of my disability. Instead of letting that stop me, it fueled something inside me. I took the course anyway — during a summer in Greece — and not only did I finish, I excelled. That experience taught me a lesson I now pass on to every student I work with: your potential isn’t defined by what others expect of you — it’s defined by how much you believe in yourself.
My mission is to make learning feel less intimidating and more empowering. I meet each student exactly where they are — with patience, compassion, and a personalized approach that celebrates how they learn best. Yes, we focus on schoolwork, but more importantly, we focus on confidence, self-worth, and growth.
I want every student who works with me to know: I see your potential. I believe in you — even when you don’t believe in yourself yet. And I’ll be here, walking beside you, until you do.
Because no diagnosis should ever define a person’s future, and every student deserves the chance to realize just how capable they truly are.
